Ethics, Moral and Privacy:

In Golden Med ethics and professionalism are values that prevail and are always present in all our acts. Our medical staff in Argentina adheres to the Ethics Code of the Argentine Medical Association (www.ama-med.org.ar ). All our activities are carried out with honesty and integrity, following high moral and ethic standards.

Personal information needed to make an evaluation of each patient as well as the medical act that involves, is handled by Golden Med in the most reserved and private way.

All the same, information in our web site is basic, of general concern and merely a guide. The available information must not be used to decide to make any medical procedure, and does not guarantee the results of the medical acts done.

Our staff will explain in detail how each procedure applies to an specific situation. Golden Med provides references of it’s professional quality, which are remarkably high, although individual results may vary.

Preliminar case analysis:

The professionals who treat your case can require in previous form to your transfer to Argentina, your clinical history, studies and concerning analysis that could be useful to obtain a more accurate diagnosis and treatment. Golden Med encourages you to formulate to the professional all doubts or questions by email or telephone.

The amount that is budgeted initially (preliminary budget) is tentative, it includes exclusively the headings and procedures detailed, and is left subject to its confirmation after the final evaluation that the responsible professional makes. It is understood that if some other procedure or practice after the consultation "face to face" with the treating professional were added, this will generate an additional cost, which will be informed to the patient before beginning the treatment in order to obtain an express consent.

Nor you or the professional have an obligation until the last budget is accepted. Surgery and treatment involve some risks, and in the case of surgery and esthetic treatments, these risks include not satisfaction of the results expected by the patient. Golden Med recommends that you and your doctor agree in an anticipated way on the expected results of the treatment or intervention, in order to determine reasonable expectations. If a dispute exists, the professional will only have responsibilities under the argentine laws, and in case of it can only take place in Argentina.

Conflict resolution:

In case of conflict presented by the patient by impericia positions, dolo, blames, imprudence, negligence, bad praxis, medical discrepancy, indirect effect, violation of privacy, or any other reason, is established and agreed by the parts specifically that any legal action must be established in the jurisdiction of the Independent City of Buenos Aires, Argentine Republic, resigning to any other law or jurisdiction.

Also, the parts allow and accept specifically that Golden Med is a company that facilitates the encounter between the patient and several professionals by who the patient can choose, reason why any demand who could arise, will not extend to Golden Med S.A. by reason some. If in spite of this express resignation, some of the parts demanded to Golden Med, the same one will be responsible for the payment of all the expenses that demands its judicial defense, but the same for indemnification by damages to Golden Med, duty free.v

Payment terms:

The payment can take place by means of transference or banking deposit, credit card, or cash in United States dollars, or its equivalent in other currencies to the type of effective change at the time of the payment (this last one requires of presence in Argentina).

25% of the total of the tentative budget is paid in advance, minimum 20 days before the trip (this amount is not refundable). 75% rest pay to minimum 10 days before the trip (this amount is refundable according to the cancellation policy).

Pollicy of cancellation:

To cancel the treatment by will of the patient, 70% of the refundable sum return, if the same one takes place before the 10 days of the date of anticipated trip, and 50% if it is cancelled between days 1 and 10 of the date of trip initially anticipated

If once arrived at Argentina the treatment was cancelled, 30% will return if it is by decision of the patient, and 50% if it were by medical decision.

The use of this Web site, as well as the conformity to make any treatment, implies in inexcusable form the acceptance of these terms and conditions.
